Bonding

Paris-Kirwan provides many types of bonds. Some examples of the bond types we offer are listed below:

Building & Construction Bonds

Bid Bonds
Guarantees the principal will provide the required performance and payment bonds, and the job will be completed at the price given.

Performance Bonds
Guarantees the principal will perform the work in accordance with the plans and specifications.

Payment Bonds
Guarantees the principal will pay labor, vendors and subcontractors for work in connection with the contract.

Maintenance Bonds
Guarantees the principal will correct any defective materials and/or workmanship discovered within a specified period of time, usually one or two years.

Non-contract or Commercial Bonds

License and Permit Bonds
Guarantees principal will comply with codes or ordinances.

Miscellaneous Bonds
Guarantees against loss due to nonfeasance (failure to act), malfeasance (wrongdoing/misconduct), and/or misfeasance (lawful action in an illegal or improper manner) to strict financial guarantees.

Supply Bonds
Guarantees delivery of a specific product in accordance with a contract. These are performance bonds.

Court Bonds
Guarantees payment of a judgment against a principal, i.e. for defendant's appeal bonds and release of lien bonds are among the most common. NO BAIL BONDS are offered.

Probate Bonds
Guarantees executor, administrator or guardian of an estate will fulfill their duties in the handling of a decedent’s estate or in their capacity as guardian of a minor or incompetent ward.
